Clearance and Shift Details Clearance Type: Secret Work Shift: 1st Shift (9/80A) Travel: Yes, 10% of the time Responsibilities Lead engineering teams supporting Flight Software and Ground Support Equipment Software. Manage the entire software development efforts. Plan, organize, and manage technical activities. Serve as a Cost Account Management (CAM) and present to senior management on cost, schedule, risks, and opportunities. Perform integration and development of hardware systems. Promote a collaborative environment across disciplines and organizations to effectively solve problems and proactively prevent issues. Basic Qualifications for Staff Engineer Embedded Software (IPT Lead) Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related experience; or a Master's degree with 10 years; or a PhD with 6 years. Experience leading engineering teams or projects. Previous CAM & EVMS experience. Risk, opportunity, and issue management experience with complex hardware and software systems. Experience with electronics integration into system-of-systems. Must have an active Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Active DoD Secret clearance. Ability to obtain an SAP clearance. Experience resolving complex issues with stakeholders. Experience with Flight Software. Extensive experience with software and system architecture.
